There she was: Venus
hanging with the creescent moon
of an early evening in late
summer, the two of them
looking like a famous couple
who doesn't want to be seen
together-just far enough
apart-but how could you not
notice in an otherwise unspectacular
sky: Venus
hanging
with that thin, horned moon?
