You know - with all his 'fecal matter' scare talk... However his recipe for Pesticide Wash Solution is inexpensive, easy to make, and I've decided (and it's always my choice how to decide these things...) extremely effective!
Here it is:
Mix together the following:
1 cup water
1 cup white vinegar
1 Tablespoon baking soda (this will make the liquids fizz up)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Pour solution into spray bottle and spray your produce. Let the solution sit on your food for about 5 minutes before rinsing it off.
Voila! Pure food!
