Open Homes Phoenix ...

Recently the International Rescue Committee (IRC) collaborated with Airbnb to create Open Homes Phoenix. The basic intention of this program is to encourage those of us with a spare room or two to offer free, temporary (average 5-9 days) housing for refugees in that extremely vulnerable period between when they first arrive in the US and the IRC readies their first apartment. Fact: 90% of these folks are completely independent within six months.
