Necktie Blinds

 You know how much I love old neckties! As we're in the process of moving (to downtown Phoenix) I've been musing over creative ways to organize my piles of art materials...


The expression "If you've got it, flaunt it" doesn't normally apply to neckties but it dawned on me that it could! So I've been shaping ties, and even sewing buttons and crystal on some - so they can be strung over an extension rod and used as blinds for our huge dining room and living room windows.

In The Middle of All This Chaos, The Diamond Planet Appears

The nursery song "twinkle twinkle, little star" might have a whole new meaning now that astronomers have found a planet they believe to be made almost entirely of diamonds.
Scientists say the planet exists about 4,000 light years away from Earth, and is probably the remnants of a once-large dead star, Reuters reports.

"The evolutionary history and amazing density of the planet all suggest it is comprised of carbon," Matthew Bailes of the University of Technology in Melbourne told Reuters. He calls it "a massive diamond orbiting a neutron star every two hours in an orbit so tight it would fit inside our own Sun."
The Daily Mail reported that, even though the planet is small in size, it has slightly more mass than the planet Jupiter.
Scientists were able to find the planet by tracking its companion star, or a pulsar, using the Parkes Radio Telescope in Australia.
As to what the diamond planet looks like, Ben Stappers of the University of Manchester told The Macadonean International News Agency (MINA) it's probably not what everyone pictures: "I don't know I could even speculate. I don't imagine that a picture of a very shiny object is what we're looking at here."

I Did It

Those of you who know me well, know that over the past 5 years, I've been expending a lot of mind-body-heart & spirit energy trying my hardest to wrestle down high interest credit card debt.

(NET). 


I asked to be freed of blocks in the way of me having a healthy, flowing  relationship with finances.


This afternoon I discovered InCharge.Org, a non profit debt repayment 
resource that rearranges debt like mine, making payback reachable.


I applied and now have a repayment plan that allows me to breathe! I am blessed and feel so grateful.

Mercury Is Retrograde & I Have A Salt Shaker Angel Protecting Me

Whenever, in the course of a couple of days, I drop too many things, bump into more than two hard objects, let my cell phone run out of charge, neglect to buy the item I most needed at the store, and forget that life is precious, I ask myself " Is Mercury Retrograde?" Not that I know what that means exactly... I'm not an astrologer. But I'm  human and I need my illusions, and when life feels like nails on a chalkboard, and I don't even fit in my own body, I love love love having something to hang it on.
